Hi everyone! Happy pride month :)

PLEASE READ THIS NEWSLETTER IN FULL.

An Important Reminder:

We do not tolerate any form of cheating in our events. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Multiaccounting, including getting friends to sign up just to send you items
  • Exploits that are discovered that are not promptly reported, and are instead used to get a large quantity of items
    • You are also disallowed from telling other people about exploits that you find, other than staff when you report it
    • If you find an exploit by mistake, you will not be punished so long as you let us know immediately
  • Hacking the website, or other people's accounts
  • If you cheat in these ways, then we will find out. We do not tolerate it whatsoever, as it gives users an advantage over others. This includes getting a mass amounts of MYOs to use to make characters, as well as trading illegitimate items for art and characters.
If we catch you cheating, then you will be given a full-site ban, the length of which varying depending on the severity of the offense.

GANYMEDE's FUndraiser:

As a tie in for the dialogue event, we are hosting an event boss!

GANYMEDE'S FUNDRAISER

By visiting the link above, or navigating to the Bosses page via the navbar (under Play) you can participate in the fundraiser for Port Chrysanthemum! 
This boss has a reversed healthbar, meaning that it starts at 0 and counts up towards the goal.

You can contribute to the fundraiser through the following methods:

  • Daily Logins: By visiting the boss fight page, you can contribute to the fundraiser with the attack button once per day for 1 damage.
  • Donating Cloud Coins: Donating Cloud Coins directly via the boss fight page will contribute, with a ratio of 100CC to 1 damage.
  • Donating Items: Donating items directly via the boss fight page will contribute, with a ratio dependant on the item's rarity.
  • Prompt Submissions: Submissions to the repeatable Pride prompt will contribute to the fundraiser, with a ratio of 100 damage per submission.

To contribute via any method besides prompts and click on the Challenge Boss button. From there, navigate to the section for your method of choice, fill out the information, and press the Attack button. Contributions from prompt submissions require no further input from you, and will be processed automatically by staff.

Contributions are collaborative - every user adds to a global pool. The fundraiser has a goal of 5,000.

The rewards can be claimed from the Boss Fight page, and are as follows:

  • For participating in the fight, you may claim a raffle ticket for a Pride themed mystery design!
  • When the fundraiser has reached 25% of its goal, you may claim a random Randomized Selfbreed MYO!
  • When the fundraiser has reached 50% of its goal, you may claim 100 Starbits!
  • When the fundraiser has reached 75% of its goal,  you may claim a random Poly Selfbreed MYO!
  • When the fundraiser is has reached 100% of its goal, you may claim a Fundraiser Patch, a Covered Basket, and a Myth MYO Add-On Box!
The fundraiser will last until June 30th!

As a reminder, an announcement will be made once rewards are claimable - either sometime after the fundraiser reaches its goal, or after it ends, whichever comes first.

DUNK A PORT OWNER:

Every day until July 1st, you can visit this page to collect a free reward! It can also be accessed via the dailies page under Activities.

Most prizes will be random Pride collectables, but there is a chance to recieve various MYOs.

PRIDE SHOP:

As usual, our Pride Shop is open for the duration of the event!
 
You can purchase selfbreed MYOs of all varieties for a discount here, as well as pride pets, crafting materials for pride collectables, and various other event items.
 

Prompts:

We have three prompts this year, including a special one! Details on the special prompt can be found in the section below this one.

As a reminder:

Story prompts can only be completed once per person. They must also be completed by you. While you can include other users' characters (with permission), the focal character(s) must be your own and other users cannot submit your drawing to the prompt.

Event prompts are repeatable, and can be completed as many times as you want during the event's duration, in order to obtain resources and other items. Other people can fulfill event prompts for you, as long as they feature your characters! Be sure to read the prompt rules thoroughly.

 

Story Prompt:

Draw/Write about your character participating in the Fundraiser on Port Chrysanthemum! This could be donating, selling something to help, decorating, or even just attending the event!

Rules:
  • If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least a shaded fullbody with a simple scene background!
  • If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 750 words!
  • This prompt MUST be completed by the character owner
  • This prompt can only be completed once!
  • Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)
Rewards:
  • Helping Hand Patch
  • 500 cc
  • Face Paint
  • Random Pride Collectable
  • 20 user exp
  • 20 character exp

Event Prompt:

Draw or write about your TSS character and a loved one interacting!

Rules:
  • If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least one unshaded fullbody and one halfbody with a simple scene background!
  • If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 500 words!
  • A maximum of 3 characters can be in one scene, this may be changed in the future.
  • This prompt can be completed by someone else for you, so long as it depicts your character! Rewards will be given to the person whose character was drawn or written about!
  • Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)
  • The person who completed the piece will be the one to upload to the gallery, not the one who owns the character!

PRIDE PARADE COLLAB:

We are hosting a site-wide collaboration this year! Submit a transparent fullbody of your character walking with a pride flag, and at the end of the event they will all be collected and edited together into one big parade piece. 

COLLAB PROMPT:

Draw a transparent fullbody of your TSS character walking with a pride flag!

Rules:
  • Submissions MUST be at least a single lined fullbody with clean colors.
  • You may only draw ONE character for this prompt. The background MUST be transparent - scenes, patterns, and flat colors are not accepted.
  • All submissions will be edited together into one full piece at the end of the event!
  • Writing is not accepted for this prompt.
  • This prompt MUST be completed by the character owner.
  • This prompt can only be completed once!
  • Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Charity Livestream:

On June 23rd at 1:00PM EST, the staff team will be hosting a livestream!

We will be completing puzzles using images submitted by users, and then later moving on to games. During the stream, we will be accepting charity donations, and will raffle off prizes to chat participants as we hit certain milestones. While you will not be missing out on anything vital should you miss the stream, we would appreciate it if you stopped in!

All charity donations will be benefiting the Trevor Project, and will be going directly to  the charity without entering our hands.

PRIDE MYSTERY ADOPTS:

Tomorrow we will be hosting a batch of Pride-themed mystery adopts! Each design will be based on a specific pride flag, and as with all of our mystery adopts, these will be sold via raffle-to-pay.

Each design will be $25.

SEASONAL BOSS FIGHT [UPDATE]:

As a small update to our seasonal boss fight, we have decided that the top 3 users on the leaderboard at the end of the fight will each recieve 1 Fabled Choice Box!
 

REVERSE POTIONS & POTTERY WHEELS:

We have made the decision to axe Reverse Potions and Pottery Wheels, as they were almost never used and only existed as a holdover from previous ownership. Going forward, characters can be reverted to previous (legal) designs free of charge - just send in a redesign request and tell us that you want to do it.
 
Reverse Potions are sellable for 700cc from now until June 30th, after which point they will be deleted from the site entirely without refund.
Since nobody owned any, Pottery Wheels have already been removed from the site.
 

Miscellaneous

  • Part 2 of the Pride Event will be released on June 29th!
  • We have added a Beginners Guide to help acquaint new users to the species and ARPG mechanics! This is viewable on the dashboard until you dismiss it. 
  • The poly selfbreed MYOs are once again available via the Ko-fi shop!
